Senior Interaction Designer with strong UI design skills
TIBCO Software is looking for an Interaction Designer in Gothenburg to help create the future of our Spotfire software.
TIBCO is a multinational company with offices all over the world, where we create a wide variety of software – the common denominator being helping customers access, share, and analyze information.
In Gothenburg we create the world’s foremost analytics software, TIBCO Spotfire. We believe that the human eye can be very efficient when analyzing data and trends, a belief we put to use in our highly interactive visualization software.
Our customers are found in many different types of business, such as pharmaceutical research, energy exploration, electronics manufacturers, and banks. Spotfire is used for analyzing anything from drug research data to sales figures.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the User Experience Team, you will be responsible for creating the interaction design for upcoming features in our software. This includes conceptual design work for how new features or functionality will integrate with our various products, as well as UI design of how the feature should be implemented.
You will also be involved in various initiatives to improve the overall usability of our products. TIBCO has a long tradition of highly interactive products that are easy to use. We take pride in what we do. You are expected to help carry that torch forward.
Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced interaction designer with both a talent for conceptual design work and with strong UI design skills to join our User Experience Team.
You are able to analyze complex problems and be a driving factor in providing a solution.
You are quick to learn new aspects of a product in order to perform related design work.
Working in a team environment suits you well. You will be working closely with developers, other interaction designers, technical writers, and testers. With our combined skills we will create a great product.
You are fluent in both English and Swedish – spoken as well as written language.

This is a full time position in Gothenburg.
