Strategic Program Manager for Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Visual Analytics

Product Line Operational Support System (OSS) is Profit & Loss responsible in the multi-billion SEK Network Management product business for Mobile and Fixed Networks.
Network management (NM) portfolio has a strong position in a (currently) mostly captive market that is increasingly open for competition while customer demands are rapidly evolving from managing nodes to user and service centric management of telecom networks. The 2014 vision is to become the market leader in Telecom Network Management products covering the full service broadband scope and doubling sales volumes from today.
We are now recruiting a Human Computer Interaction and Visual Analytics Strategic Product Manager within the Common Infrastructure & Innovation group in PL OSS.
Job description
You will shape the cognitive aspect of the NM portfolio, defining the rules to be followed identifying information sources, and in making information available and simplifying the user interaction regardless of the task complexity. You will ensure that the Ericsson products and solutions are chosen because of their usefulness, ease-of-use and low cost of ownership.
You will have to define the evolution path from today's NM User Interaction up to the goal, guiding research activities (and prototypes), as well as concrete changes in the delivered products through the years.
You will work with customers and people using today products to understand benefit and draw backs and to lead the transformation.
Qualifications
University degree, preferably a Master of Science/Bachelor degree or equivalent, with orientation to HCI, Visual Communication (visual analytics) and in general cognitive science is required.
Experience in Data modeling and visual representation of large data sets and/or exposure to the Graphics arts (graphic design) would be beneficial.
Management and/or leadership training is mandatory.
