Visma Opic, part of the commerce solution division of Visma, is looking for an ambitious usability engineer to join us in developing world-class interface design and usability. We encourage both graduates and candidates with relevant experience to apply.
As our usability specialist you will join a team of highly skilled and motivated developers, communicators and sales experts. You will be a driving force in pushing the envelope for usability for our applications - in a divers array of platforms.
We seek candidates who are motivated by utilizing their creativity as well as skills and expertise. The work will give you challenges in a number of areas, ranging from hands-on work with usability procedures and design to prototyping, testing and other HCI-activities. There will also be a portion of work focused on communicating the work internally as well as contributing to the corporate HCI-environment.
We believe that you have
- higher education within the field of Human-Computer Interaction and/or Cognitive Psychology or Industrial design
- experience within HCI/Usability research and that you have a solid understanding and experience from the most commonly used usability methods
- good analytical skills
- a strong sense and interest in identifying usability constraints and obstacles, and translating them into great interface design
- solid knowledge when it comes to graphical design
Additionally, it would come in handy if you have
- experience in project management
- good communicative skills in english
